Learning in a workshop amongst other people brings with it many benefits that you are unable to get on an individual basis.
Learning together means shared experiences, questions being asked that also relate to you plus giving and receiving support from the other participants.

Guided Drum Journey
In drum journeying we access the knowledge and wisdom of our ancestors. We receive clarity and understanding, guidance and support to enable us to live our lives as the spiritual beings we are. Our experience on a drum journey offers messages for us to interpret, accept or reject – it is always our choice.
Journeying is a conscious disassociation and within our safe, held space we can allow ourselves to journey outside of time and into “non-ordinary reality”.
By closing our eyes, stopping and dropping into our bodies we allow ourselves to drop into the spaces between our chattering thoughts.
Lying down comfortably, with your breath, will and imagination the drum shifts your brain waves into theta state entering lucid dreaming (light trance like mediation).
The drum provides the vehicle upon which we can journey to receive guidance and wisdom from our helping allies and spirits.
I will be guiding and supporting you with the drum as your soundscape, the beating heart of the earth.
Our sessions together are informal, friendly and fun. Each month will have a new theme or journey to explore through movment or relaxation to the drum.
I’ve loved my drumming sessions with Karen. The sound of the drum is soothing and hypnotic and I’ve been on some amazing journeys.
I hadn’t experienced guided drum journeying before so I really appreciated Karen’s clear explanations of the process.
I was surprised by how easy I found it to go within and hear messages which really resonated with me. One insight in particular has led me on a path which has added so much to my life. Thank you Karen!

Bring water and a mat/blanket to lie on and to keep warm also a notebook to write down your experience.
